Parkside sits on the east side of Military Trail in central Boca Raton, between SW 18th Street to the south and Camino Real to the north. The community is across Sugar Sand Park, one of Palm Beach County's most used public parks. That adjacency is one of Parkside's most tangible location advantages.

The community has 203 single-family homes spread across three phases, each with its own street loop. The oldest section runs along Parkside Circle South, followed by Parkside Circle North developed in 1985 and 1986, with Park Avenue making up the final phase. Lot sizes are generous throughout, and a good number of homes back directly to one of the community's lakes.

Two gated entrances serve the community. The main entrance off Military Trail has a staffed guardhouse, and the east gate provides residents-only access.

For everyday needs, Parkside's central location keeps most of Boca Raton within reach. Town Center of Boca Raton is around 10 minutes north. I-95 is around 6 minutes via Palmetto Park Road, connecting south to Fort Lauderdale and north to West Palm Beach. Mizner Park and downtown Boca Raton are around 14 minutes east, and South Beach Park and Red Reef Park are around 17 minutes away.
